our MARRIAGE inspires our work.

Kyle’s dad was a missionary pilot, so he grew up primarily in Ecuador, and I’ve always called North Dakota home. Our paths first crossed at a Bible camp Kyle’s uncle directed and I had attended for years. It was not so much “love at first sight” (I thought Kyle was a bit too into all the girls at camp!), but over the next few summers, we would finally realize we both had secret camp crushes on each other. We managed a long-distance relationship while Kyle finished college, and once he graduated, he moved up to North Dakota… and the rest is history.

In addition to our real-life love story, I’m inspired to create heirloom wedding films because I know first-hand how important it is to have video memories of the people we love. After my brother passed away when I was 19, the camcorder videos he left behind became one of our family’s favorite ways to hear his voice, experience his laugh, and remember his goofy antics. I love knowing we give our couples treasured moments and timeless memories.
